1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a JobsBook account or using the JobsBook service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and [PLACEHOLDER: Your Company Name].
2. Description of Service
JobsBook is a booking and invoicing platform for service businesses. It provides multi-tenant calendar, customer, staff, ledger, and invoicing tools delivered over the public internet, with optional email and travel-distance integrations.
3. Account Registration & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind your business to these Terms. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at sign-up and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
JobsBook offers a free 7-day Trial, a paid Basic plan, and a paid Pro plan, each billed monthly via Stripe. Trial accounts that do not upgrade revert to read-only for 30 days, after which the data is permanently deleted. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
5. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
You agree not to use JobsBook for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious code, to attempt to bypass tenant isolation, to scrape data belonging to other tenants, or to overwhelm the service with automated traffic. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Data Ownership & Tenant Isolation
Your business data — customers, bookings, invoices, staff records — belongs to your company. JobsBook stores it in a multi-tenant database where every record is tagged with your company's tenant id and queries are scoped at the database driver level. We do not sell, license, or share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (see Privacy Policy).

8. Intellectual Property
JobsBook, its logo, and the underlying software are owned by [PLACEHOLDER: Your Company Name]. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of the data you upload.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that places other tenants at risk. On termination we delete your tenant data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [PLACEHOLDER: Your Company Name] WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
